Chattanooga Red Wolves SC defender Vangjel Zguro has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 10 of the league’s inaugural 2019 season.
The Albanian defender notched both assists, had four key passes overall and recorded four tackles and nine recoveries in the team’s 2-2 draw with Toronto FC II at David Stanton Field on Saturday.
Both assists came off of corners that were sent in by Zguro. The first assist came in the 38th minute when Conor Doyle headed home a Zguro cross to give the Red Wolves the lead. Then, in the 84th minute, Colin Falvey was the recipient of Zguro’s cross, heading home the game-tying goal.
