Detroit City FC is excited to continue its storied co-ed adult recreational soccer league at Detroit’s Historic Fort Wayne this fall. The eight-week DCFL Fall League season begins on August 22 and concludes on October 24.
Each team chooses its name based on a Detroit area bar or restaurant. With the bar or restaurant’s approval, of course, you pick one that you think suits your team.
Space is limited! See below for more details:
Who: If you aren’t a Detroit resident, fear not. All Metro Detroit residents are welcome and encouraged to play.
To ensure the league remains competitive and fun for all, each team must register at least 18 players. Uniforms are not necessary, but matching tops are required. Because this is a co-ed league, three females must be on the field during league play.
Where: Historic Fort Wayne located at 6325 W Jefferson Ave, Detroit.
When: The eight-week season runs from August 22 until October 24, with one week of playoffs. Games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
How much: The cost to play is $750 per team. All teams must complete a waiver with players’ signatures and pay with one check per team made out to Detroit City Futbol League.
Interested players can find more information here.
Registration is due by August 14, 2017 at 7 PM.
