We’re hiring at Detroit City Fieldhouse!
Join our team as a League Referee. This part-time position for the Detroit City Fieldhouse (DCFH) provides game-day duties for youth and adult soccer games including field setup, officiating, and reporting.
The League Referee is expected to:

Ensure field components such as goals, corner flags, and lines are set up properly

Officiate and report soccer matches as assigned while supporting DCFH staff as needed

Promote a safe and healthy playing environment while respecting all participants

Attend referee refresher courses as required to maintain knowledge of laws of the game
Requirements:

Previous soccer referee, playing, or coaching experience

Availability to work weeknights and/or weekends

Strong written and oral communication skills

Must have reliable transportation

Ability to lift 20 pounds and be mobile for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:

Completed referee course(s) through U.S. Soccer or other equivalent experience

Strong relationships with local soccer community
Compensation:
The Referee shall be compensated between $15-$20 per hour, based on experience and scheduling factors. Reimbursement for certain USSF referee license acquisition is available.
