The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) today announced the relaunch of the 2019 NPSL Founders Cup as the NPSL Members Cup.
Detroit City FC will play a total of 10 NPSL Members Cup matches featuring five home-and-away series against Chattanooga FC, Michigan Stars FC, Milwaukee Torrent, Napa Valley 1839 FC and New York Cosmos.
In addition to the full slate of Members Cup matches, Detroit City FC is set to host three marquee friendlies this fall, with a fourth home friendly to be announced in the coming days. First, the Boys in Rouge host Windsor TFC at Keyworth Stadium for its annual cross-border friendly on Tuesday, August 6 at 7:30 PM.
On Tuesday, August 13, USL Championship side Indy Eleven will visit Keyworth Stadium for the clubs’ first-ever meeting. The friendly kicks off at 7:30 PM.
Detroit then welcomes Liga MX’s Club Atlas to Keyworth on Saturday, September 7 for an international friendly presented by DTE Energy. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM.
