Calmly and as smoothly as you’d like, Gomez converted the penalty against New Mexico United on July 24 to provide a window of opportunity for Locomotive FC before tapping the ball just out of reach of Rising FC ‘keeper Eric Dick for the opening goal against the 2019 Regular Season title winners on August 1. The pair of goals makes the Locomotive forward the team’s leading goal scorer in the abbreviated season.
