Jacob Crull scored his second goal of the season Saturday in a 2-1 defeat to his former club, Union Omaha, and was selected to the USL League One Team of the Week.
Crull won eighth of 10 ground and aerial duels for FC Tucson, recorded three tackles and had two clearances in the last-minute loss.
He connected with a header on Louis Perez’s corner kick in the 68th minute to bring FC Tucson level.
It was his third career goal. He scored earlier this season, also converting a corner kick, in a 1-1 draw at home with Forward Madison.
The 24-year-old defender is second on the team in tackles won, and third in clearances and blocks.
