Fort Wayne, Ind. — After clinching its first-ever playoff berth, Fort Wayne FC announces they have been selected to host the USL2 Conference Quarterfinals and Semifinal in Fort Wayne, July 21 & 23, 2023.
With last Sunday night’s 4-0 victory over Toledo Villa, Fort Wayne secured their top spot in the Valley Division and earned the right to play the first weekend of USL League Two knockout action at the University of Saint Francis’ Bishop John D’Arcy Stadium.
This will be the first playoff appearance by Fort Wayne FC.
“It’s an exciting time for soccer in Fort Wayne,” commented Fort Wayne FC operations director, Laurie Perolio-Bullinger. “Not only has our team proven themselves this season on the field but as an organization, we have proven that we’re serious about our commitment and dedication to bringing world-class soccer to Fort Wayne. In just three seasons, we’ve developed into a team to watch in the USL2. Much of this is attributed to our organization, our players, and our entire staff,” commented Perolio-Bullinger.
