Fort Wayne FC seeks Sporting Director

Assistant Equipment Manager post also open

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Fort Wayne FC announced today it is seeking a Sporting Director to lead and manage all the club’s soccer operations. The person chosen for this position will play a crucial role in upholding the club’s philosophy, vision and values.

The club is accepting applications for an Assistant Equipment Manager.

“We are actively conducting a search for a new Sporting Director,” said DaMarcus Beasley, Fort Wayne FC’s Director of Football Operations. “I have already held talks with different individuals about this role. We are very excited about the club’s future and this role will play a pivotal part in helping us achieve our goals”

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

● 5+ years of experience working with athletes, coaches and technical staff
● Direct oversight of signing players, scouting, transfers and potential targets
● Thorough knowledge of the professional soccer environment, including U.S. and
international soccer markets, from youth academies to professional level
● Experience with financial and industry data necessary to utilize Club resources
● Great communication skills and the ability to make tough decisions and take responsibility for communication feedback clearly and effectively
● Overseeing player and sport operations staff contracts, negotiations and determination of compensation based on job description, experience and qualifications
