On Monday, the Flamingos launched Chateau Mingeau, a rosé created in partnership with Prairie du Sac-based Wollersheim Winery. The wine comes in a can, and features artwork centered around the Forward Madison logo.

On Monday, the Flamingos launched Chateau Mingeau, a rosé created in partnership with Prairie du Sac-based Wollersheim Winery. The wine comes in a can, and features artwork centered around the Forward Madison logo.
Fans can buy the first run of Chateau Mingo, which got its name from an online contest, as part of a special Mother’s Day package on Forward Madison’s web store. Buyers will get two cans of wine (equivalent to one bottle), a Forward Madison stemless wine glass, a Chateau Mingo poster and a flamingo plant pot.
Wollersheim, which has roots going back to before the Civil War, has a proud history of making nationally and internationally-awarded wines. Forward Madison's wine is made locally at Wollersheim's vineyards just north of Madison.
A portion of proceeds from sales of Chateau Mingeau will benefit the Flock Soccer Fund, which helps bring affordable soccer to underserved communities.
