On Sunday October 7, 2018 Breese Stevens Field, MG&E, La Movida, and Madison Pro Soccer hosted Dia De Futbol. This free family event included a youth soccer clinic in the morning which was run by Head Coach & Technical Director of Madison Pro Soccer Daryl Shore with assistance from Luis Hernandez. It was a great way for Coach Shore to interact with some of the youth clubs here in Madison and engage with the community.
Later in the day special guest Luis "El Matador" Hernandez made his appearance and addressed the crowd telling stories of his playing days on the Mexican National Team. Hernandez and Coach Shore then signed autographs and interacted with fans as the event went on. Even though the rain never let up that didn't stop the fans from coming out and showing their support for both the club and Coach Shore. Thank you to all the fans who came out and supported all the local youth clubs as well as Madison Pro Soccer!
