The new Forward Madison coffee, made with beans grown by farmer co-ops in Honduras and Peru, contains notes of cocoa, citrus and clove. Members of The Flock, FMFC’s independent supporters’ group, helped pick the blend in a blind tasting. Now, Flamingo fans are being asked to name the coffee by submitting suggestions online.
Just Coffee Cooperative, like Forward Madison, is a local company focused on its surrounding community. Just Coffee is worker-owned, partners with small-scale growers and lists fair trade and environmental stability among its core tenets.
Forward Madison finished fourth in its inaugural USL League One season in 2019, drawing a league-best 4,292 fans per match. The team is revealing the first four players who have re-signed for 2020 during a party at Breese Stevens Field Wednesday evening.
