Forward Madison FC is creating specially-customized soccer scarves for every one of its 2020 season ticket holders that signs up before Dec. 23, the club announced Monday. Each Flamingo fan will receive a knit scarf that features a woven patch with their name embroidered onto it.
According to FMFC merchandise manager Chase Eagan, the custom scarf is unique among American soccer clubs.
“As far as I know, I don’t think anybody else in the United States is doing this,” Eagan said. “We wanted to make sure it was fully custom, to give a personalized touch to our fanbase.”
Both new and returning season ticket holders will get their custom scarf as long as they have locked in 2020 season tickets before Dec. 23.
Season ticket holders will receive admission to 18 games at Breese Stevens Field next year, along with an 18 percent discount on merchandise, 25 dollars to spend on food and beverages, the ability to swap out tickets for games they can’t attend and other perks.
