Forward Madison's ownership group, Big Top Sports & Ent., has won Downtown Madison Inc.'s Community Asset award for its work in revitalizing Breese Stevens Field this year.
According to Downtown Madison's website, the award was developed as a way to "publicly thank individuals and organizations who contribute significantly to improving the quality of life within the downtown community."
Forward Madison welcomed over 70,000 fans to games in its inaugural season this year. Breese Stevens Field also several hosted major concerts, along with high school sports and open community events.
