FRESNO, CA – Central Valley Fuego FC proudly announces the signing of accomplished defender Ashkanov Apollon, with an impressive background in the USL Championship. Apollon, a former player for Hartford Athletic, brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Fuego FC’s defensive lineup.
Born in the United States, Apollon is of Haitian descent through his parents. He made his international debut representing the Haitian national team in a notable 2–0 victory over Belize during the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification on March 25, 2021.
Having donned the Hartford Athletic jersey from 2021 to 2023, Apollon showcased his prowess as a key player in the USL Championship. Prior to his time with Hartford, he contributed significantly to Sacramento Republic during the 2020 season. Apollon’s journey through the USL Championship has solidified his reputation as a strong defender.
Throughout his career in the USL Championship, Apollon amassed a total of 53 appearances, playing a commendable 2775 minutes on the pitch. His defensive acumen and commitment to the game have been evident, making him a standout figure in the league.
Notably, Apollon etched his name into the score sheet with a memorable goal against Legion FC, showcasing his versatility and ability to contribute offensively when called upon.
