San Diego Native Ernesto ‘Moe’ Espinoza Returns to the West Coast

FRESNO, CA – Central Valley Fuego FC is delighted to announce the signing of talented midfielder Ernesto ‘Moe’ Espinoza. A San Diego native, Espinoza’s return to California brings an exciting dynamic to the team, as he joins Central Valley Fuego FC for the upcoming season.
Born and raised in San Diego, Espinoza’s soccer journey began with Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles, where he honed his skills at various age levels, including U13, U15, U17, and U20. His exceptional talent did not go unnoticed, as he earned multiple call-ups to represent the US Youth National Team, showcasing his prowess on the international stage.
Espinoza’s professional career led him to the Chattanooga Red Wolves for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, where he made a significant impact. Over the course of 48 games, Espinoza demonstrated his versatility and scoring ability, tallying an impressive 8 goals and contributing 10 assists. His total playing time amounted to 2761 minutes, solidifying his status as a key player for the Red Wolves.
The midfielder’s technical skill, vision on the field, and goal-scoring prowess make him a valuable addition to Central Valley Fuego FC. Central Valley Fuego FC eagerly welcomes Ernesto ‘Moe’ Espinoza to the team.
