Benson’s talent was on full display earlier this year when El Farolito faced off against Central Valley Fuego FC in the second round of the 2024 Open Cup. El Farolito emerged victorious with a 2-1 win, thanks to two remarkable goals scored by none other than Benson himself. His performance in that match left a lasting impression on Fuego FC’s coaching staff and fans alike.
Dembor Benson comes from a distinguished soccer family. His older brother, Jerry Bengtson, is a renowned Honduran international, known for his contributions to both club and country.
