Welcome back to the mailbag! The questions get better and better with each week. Keep 'em coming! If you want to submit a question for the mailbag, click here. Let's get to your questions:
Jill S asks, "Where is the parking at Dillon Stadium? Is there a charge for parking?"
There is plenty of parking at Dillon Stadium and parking will cost $10. We'll have parking in many of the surrounding lots as well as some parking at Bulkley High School. Check out the map below for parking:
For more information on Dillon Stadium go to https://sportsengine-staging.go-vip.net/hartfordathletic/dillon-stadium.
Darren B asks, "Can we wave flags?"
Hi Darren, at Rentschler Field you can bring in a flag, but not a flagpole. Flags must enter with the Supporters Groups. At Dillon Stadium, however, you will be allowed to bring in flags on flagpoles.
Cristobal R asks, "Will there be a brass bonanza button?"
There is always a brass bonanza button my friend
@CTSoccerMike asks, "What is/was your favorite memory at Rentschler Field?"
Harry Swartz: I'd have to say the win over St. Louis. Nothing better than a win, especially in front of our amazing fans!
Nicky Downs: Beating St. Louis and getting our first official Championship home win. It was especially exciting to win the game in the final minutes.
Alex Dixon: Seeing the fans Rock The Rent 12,000 strong for our first ever home match was an incredible sight. The energy and atmosphere that night was electric!
@DamonTweet asks, "What’s the difference between Jelly and Jam?"
In jelly, the fruit comes in the form of fruit juice. Jelly has the smoothest consistency and is usually clear. In jam, the fruit comes in the form of fruit pulp or crushed fruit. This makes jam less stiff than jelly.
Jenna Z asks, "Are you planning to come out with player jerseys?"
We've gotten this question a lot as I'm sure you're all dying to get jerseys with your favorite player on the back. If you go over to TeamSports (which has three locations – one in Farmington, one in Glastonbury, and one in West Springfield) you can order customized jerseys at their store. You can not order these online yet.
NEXT HOME MATCH:
The Boys in Green are home tomorrow night, June 28th, at 7:30 PM against Bethlehem Steel FC! Gates at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field open at 6:30 PM, and we've got $5 Draft Beers until the 19th minute. Get your tickets here, and get ready to #RockTheRent!
