Indy Eleven Professional Soccer announces the signing of University of Indianapolis superstar Braden Tamosaitis to a one-day contract.
“Braden is a fantastic signing and a passionate supporter,” Indy Eleven head coach Martin Rennie said. “He brings an abundance of energy to the squad and we’re happy to have him on the team.”
Tamosaitis, 13, has undergone 25 surgeries for spinal bifida in the past few years. Over the last four seasons, Tamosaitis has been a member of the University of Indianapolis Men's Soccer team. Tamosaitis learned that he would be signing a one-day contract with “Indiana’s Team” during his 13th birthday celebration with a video from Coach Rennie. After his contract, Tamosaitis will continue his soccer career with the UIndy Men's team as an assistant coach.
