Of the 17 Las Vegas Lights Football Club (FC) regular season “soccer parties” the club will host at Cashman Field, 15 of those will be weekend matches with 8 p.m. start times.
The United Soccer League (USL) on Friday released the club’s 34-match regular season slate. Lights FC begins its regular season on Saturday, March 17 on the road against Fresno FC, and opens the home portion of its schedule a week later on Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m. vs. in-state rival Reno 1868 FC.
Combined with the three Soccer Spring Training matches vs. visiting MLS clubs taking place on consecutive Saturday nights in February, the Lights FC inaugural season home schedule guarantees at least 20 home matches. Season ticket packages are still available, and will include all 20 now-announced home matches. Lights FC 2018 season tickets start at just $200 (averaging out at just $10 per match), and each season ticket purchased for the inaugural season includes a free official Lights FC team jersey (valued at $80). Visit LightsFC.com/Tickets or call 702.728.GOAL (4625) during normal business hours with all other ticketing inquiries.
Some of the schedule’s highlights include:
- Seven of the club’s first eight matches will take place at Cashman Field, including the already-announced Soccer Spring Training matches against visiting MLS clubs on Feb. 10 (Montreal Impact), Feb. 17 (Vancouver Whitecaps FC) and Feb. 24 (DC United). Beginning with the March 24 home opener, Lights FC plays 4 consecutive home matches (3 Saturday, 1 Friday).
- Three matchups with both Reno 1868 FC (1 home, 2 away) and Phoenix Rising FC (2 home, 1 away).
- Seven of the club’s final 11 regular season matches will take place at home, including 4 home matches in September.
“All along, we’ve promised a soccer party in Downtown Las Vegas, and now with the dates and times unveiled, no one should have an excuse not to come down to Cashman Field and give at least one Lights FC home match a chance,” Lights FC Owner & CEO Brett Lashbrook said. “We are going to provide a soccer experience that is unmatched in the United States, and all of our games are priced to be accessible to everyone in Las Vegas. We can’t wait to get it all started in just a few weeks.”
