Louisville City is coming home to Slugger for their first playoff match next Saturday, Oct. 26. After beating Memphis 901 FC Saturday night in Memphis, Louisville City moved into the top four in the Eastern Conference which means LouCity will host the Tampa Bay Rowdies Saturday at 7 p.m. at Slugger Field.
“Our goal was to bring the playoffs back to Slugger Field,” Louisville City coach John Hackworth said. “Even when we weren’t moving up from that sixth spot in the table, I just kept saying ‘Trust us, we will keep grinding and we will move up.’ Lo and behold, we have. We are 9-1-3 in our last 13 games.”
