Leesburg, VA. – Loudoun United FC today announced its full 2023 schedule with kickoff times for the fifth season in the club’s history. The season is set to feature 34 matches over 32 weeks.
With a focus on building a schedule to best serve the Red-and-White’s passionate fans, the 2023 USL Championship season will feature 10 Saturday evening matches, three Sunday afternoon matches and three weekday matchups.
Loudoun United FC host defending USL Championship title holders San Antonio FC in the Red-and-White’s home opener, kicking off at 3:45 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 19.
July 3 starts the club’s summer celebration with a 7:15 p.m. kickoff. Including that date, four of the five dates in July and August kickoff at 7:15 p.m.
The Wednesday, August 2 matchup against Memphis 901 FC will feature the first-ever opening whistle at 10:45 am ET. This match will serve as Camp Day, a fun-filled match featuring a multitude of activities for summer camps along with businesses looking for a lunch meeting at Segra Field. Three promotional nights to note include June 9, July 3 and October 7. June 9 celebrates the end of Loudoun County Public Schools spring semester, while July 3 will have fireworks and music to party for the 4th of July holiday. October 7, the last regular season home match, is sure to include fan appreciation items for a second consecutive year. Following the conclusion of each of those matches, Loudoun United will host a post-match firework show at Segra Field.
