Loudoun United FC defender Gaoussou Samaké named to USL Championship Team of the Week Bench for Week 2; the league announced today.
Samaké was part of a dominant defensive display against San Antonio FC, recording 17 possessions won and six duels won. His performance led United to a 1-1 draw against the defending champions.
LUFC is on the road this week, heading to Oklahoma to face FC Tulsa for a Saturday matchup. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET, with the match broadcast on ESPN+.
