The Red-and-White look to add to their two-match winning streak on Sunday.
In their last outing, Loudoun United gave fans the most complete performance to date in a 3-0 dominant win over the top-seeded Eastern Conference rivals, Birmingham Legion. The match saw three different goal scorers and the team’s first clean sheet of the season.
Forward Wesley Leggett scored in his second match in a row, opening up the scoring in the 32nd minute of the match.
Just ten minutes later, Kalil ElMedkhar opened his Loudoun United account to give the Red-and-White a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
In the 69th minute, forward Zach Ryan added a goal to his name. Ryan is tied for second most goals in the USL (4) in three matches.
Goalkeeper Hugo Fauroux claimed his first clean sheet for the Red-and-White.
Four players earned USL Team of the Week honors for Week 6. Kalil ElMedkhar, Zach Ryan and Koa Santos landed themselves on the USL Team of the Week while Gaoussou Samaké was named to USL Championship Team of the Week Bench.

Oakland Roots head to Segra Field following their second loss of the 2023 season. Oakland sits in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings with seven points (2-2-1). The Roots are 1-1-1 on the road.
Oakland fell to Eastern Conference opponent Hartford Athletic. Dariusz Formella bagged his second goal of the season in the 73rd minute. Goalkeeper Paul Blanchette has kept two clean sheets this season while conceding six goals in five appearances.
Match Up History
Sunday’s match will be the second time the two clubs face off in the USL Championship. Loudoun are 0-1-0 against Oakland. This will be the first time the Roots travel to Segra Field.
