Loudoun United FC travel to Alabama on a high following back-to-back wins. On Saturday, the Red-and-White defeated Miami FC 2-1 thanks to goals from Zach Ryan and Jackson Hopkins.
Zach Ryan scored his eighth goal from the penalty spot in the 36th minute to give United the lead over Miami.
Jackson Hopkins doubled Loudoun’s lead by scoring a screamer from 20+ yards out. This marked his first goal for the Red-and-White this season.
Goalkeeper Dane Jacomen started in goal for United, recording four saves.
Zach Ryan continues to lead the team in goals with eight on the season, tied for third-most in the USL Championship. Kalil ElMedkhar leads the team in assists with three.
