Leesburg, VA (March 8th, 2025) – Loudoun United Football Club have signed former Kentucky Wildcat goalkeeper Ryan Jack to a one-year contract through the 2025 season with an option for 2026, pending league and federation approval.
“I’m excited to be joining Loudoun United for the upcoming season. Growing up in the area means a lot to me being able to start my journey here in Loudoun County,” said Ryan Jack.
“Ryan joined us in preseason and showed his quality to be able to play in the USL. He has the ability to help us build from the back and picks up concepts and tactical information very quickly”, said Head Coach Ryan Martin. “We are happy to have him on board!”
Jack, a Northern Virginia native, grew up playing soccer for Elite Clubs National League (ENCL) in his youth years and then at Virginia Development Academy (VDA). From VDA, Jack received an offer to play for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, where he was awarded Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week twice in his junior year. Jack led his conference in GAA (.4), saves (.889%), and shutouts per match, recording four shutouts in seven conference matches, as well as receiving the Frank G. Ham award for athletic and academic excellence. The Wildcats would go on to win the Sun Belt Conference Regular Season and Tournament that same season.
