ALBUQUERQUE, NM (October 15, 2018) – New Mexico United will host open trials on Saturday, November 10. The trials will take place at Robertson Field (1800 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE; Albuquerque, NM 87106) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Interested players, 18 and older, can register here. A non-refundable $140 fee is due at the time of registration, and each participant will receive an Adidas training shirt to be worn throughout the trial. The deadline for registration is Monday, November 5th.
“With this being our inaugural season, there’s a lot of excitement around our club,” said Head Coach and Technical Director, Troy Lesesne. “I encourage any player who feels they have the ability to play for New Mexico United to come out and demonstrate their skill set for me and my staff.”
There are only 100 available spots for the trial, and they will fill quickly. Capping registration ensures that all players can be thoroughly evaluated by the New Mexico United technical staff. Interested players are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
“I’ve organized open trials with my past clubs, and I’ve always discovered quality talent,” said Lesesne. “Even if this opportunity doesn’t materialize into a professional contract, it’s a valuable experience for the participant.”
Registrants will receive more information in the week preceding the trial. Any questions or requests for more information should be sent to info@https://sportsengine-staging.go-vip.net/newmexicoutd.
