The Carolina RailHawks have announced a partnership with Capitol Broadcasting Company to broadcast all RailHawks home matches live on the brand new HD radio station 99.9-3 The Ticket and online at www.WRALSportsFan.com.
“We are delighted to bring this partnership with Capitol Broadcasting Company to our fans as it will allow them to listen to the games live and in the highest quality available,” said RailHawks President Curt Johnson. “Expanding the RailHawks reach to the HD airwaves positions us well with our growing fan base. Soccer fans are typically the first to embrace new technology.”
The Ticket will be Capitol Broadcasting’s fourth all-sports radio station, including The Fan, The Buzz, and ESPN Deportes. CBC recently installed a higher power HD transmitter that allows for the expansion and a digital power increase of all digital signals. HD Radio is available from every major auto manufacturer as a standard feature or upgrade in at least one model.
Fans wanting to tune into The Ticket will be able to do so with their HD receivers at home or in their car. The Ticket will also stream over the internet by clicking on The Ticket player on www.WRALSportsFan.com and will be available on Capitol Broadcasting’s mobile apps, enabling fans in the stadium or in the Triangle to follow the game to receive special in-game information from the RailHawks webcast team.
The RailHawks will next travel to Minnesota to face off against the Stars FC at 8:30 PM ET on Saturday, May 12th. The match will be steamed on www.CarolinaRailHawks.com. The RailHawks will return to WakeMed Soccer Park on May 19th to face the Puerto Rico Islanders at 7:00 PM ET. Tickets for the match can be purchased online at www.CarolinaRailHawks.com or by calling the Cuizers Box Office at 919-459-8144.
