CARY, NC (Sept. 27, 2022) – North Carolina FC forward Garrett McLaughlin has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week for Week 26 of the 2022 regular season, the club announced today.
McLaughlin earns Team of the Week honors for the fourth time this year after scoring his 13th goal of the season in last Saturday’s match against the Charlotte Independence, also winning 50% of his duels and creating a pair of chances. The striker has now locked up second place in the USL League One Golden Boot race, just three goals behind Golden Boot leader Emiliano Terzhagi with four regular season contests remaining.
