The match kicks off at 5:30pm, and fans can watch locally on Yurview Arizona, Cox channels 4&1004 in Phoenix and 7&1007 in Tucson. Fans can also stream the match nationwide on ESPN+. The match will also be live on the radio on El Patron 93.7 FM (Spanish language).
The trip will also be a return home for of sorts for three former San Antonio players: Billy Forbes and Devin Vega return to Toyota Field for the first time since leaving San Antonio FC in the offseason while Saad Abdul-Salaam returns for the first time since his loan stint with the San Antonio Scorpions (NASL) in 2015.
Phoenix Rising FC (16-6-5) has won four straight games, their longest winning streak since September 2017. The team has also recorded four consecutive clean sheets, holding opponents off the board for the past 383 minutes. It’s their second-longest shutout streak of the season, with the longest being 491 minutes, stretching from May 30 to July 14.
On Saturday, Rising FC has a chance to inch closer to matching their highest point total in a season. Coming into the game against San Antonio FC, Phoenix sits with 53 points, just five points shy of the club record set in 2017.
San Antonio FC is currently 8th in the Western Conference with 40 points. The team has won two straight games, including a win over the first-place Real Monarchs SLC in their last game on September 3.
