
PHOENIX (February 6, 2018) — Phoenix Rising FC announced today it has acquired goalkeeper Zac Lubin. The 28-year old last played with Swedish side Ljungskile SK. Lubin has previous United Soccer League experience, spending time with Swope Park Rangers and Tulsa Roughnecks FC. Including Lubin, Phoenix Rising now has 22 players under contract for the 2018 season.
Lubin began his professional career in 2014 when he made 20 appearances for Swedish side IFK Luleå, recording five shutouts. In 2015, he appeared in 15 matches with Tulsa Roughnecks FC, collecting two shutouts. He then appeared in ten matches with Swope Park Rangers in 2016. Last season Lubin recorded five shutouts in 20 matches with Ljungskile SK.
