
PHOENIX (December 5, 2018) — Phoenix Rising Football Club announced today that it had signed midfielder Junior Flemmings for the 2019 season pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, the details of the contract will not be made public.
Lat season, Flemmings played 1,592 minutes in 26 appearances for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. His six goals scored were tied for second on the club and he led the team with five assists. Over the course of the season, Flemmings was named the USL Player of the Week for Week 19 and was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 11.

Prior to his season with Tampa Bay, Flemmings played with USL side New York Red Bulls II. In his two seasons with the club, he scored 16 goals in 52 matches and helped lead the club to winning the 2016 USL Cup. That season Flemmings was ranked No. 6 in USL’s Top 20 under 20 list.
The Kingston, Jamaica native earned his first cap with the Jamaican national team in 2017.
With the addition of Flemmings, Phoenix Rising’s roster now stands at 11 players for the 2019 season.
