
PHOENIX (March 18, 2019) – Phoenix Rising Football Club announced today that Junior Flemmings and Kevon Lambert have received an international call up from the Jamaican National Team. The duo will join the Reggae Boyz for two international matches during the next FIFA International window.
Lambert was last called up in September 2018 ahead of the CONCACAF Nations League Qualification. Flemmings was last called up in June 2017 for the Caribbean Cup.
Jamaica will play one match in CONCACAF Nations League qualification against El Salvador in San Salvador (March 23) then travel to San Jose, Costa Rica, (March 26) for an international friendly.
In the Concacaf Nations League qualification phase, which is entering its final matchday, Jamaica is in fifth place out of 34 teams and would clinch a berth in both League A of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League as well as the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup with a victory in the match at El Salvador.
