Racing Louisville coach Bev Yanez met with media Tuesday to preview her team’s 10 p.m. ET Wednesday match at Angel City at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
Racing (3-3-6, 15 points) can move up to sixth place with a win. The Louisvillians are currently in eighth place but with one fewer game played as the two teams ahead of them. They’re aiming to bounce back from a frustrating 2-0 loss to Gotham over the weekend.
“Obviously quick turnaround here so taking what we learned from last match and applying it as quick as possible is going to be a big objective for us,” Yanez said. “I also think it’s a fantastic opportunity for us given the results on the weekend and an opportunity to continue to push and continue to showcase us and where we’re at. It’s a quick turnaround, meaning it’s a quick opportunity for us to get points and continue to climb up the table.”
