The Richmond Kickers were proud to host Jan Ruerings, Holland’s U16 National Team Coach, who imparted his extensive knowledge and experience to Kickers players and staff over the past two weeks.
While visiting the Kickers, Jan conducted week-long team camps for the Kickers U11 Girls Elite, U12 Girls Elite, U12 Boys Elite, U15 Girls Elite and U15 Boys Elite teams. Additionally, he led coaching clinics for Kickers travel and recreational coaches on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 at Ukrop Park.
The Dutch are renowned world wide for their skill, tactics and player development philosophy. Even with a population of less than 20 million, The Netherlands has consistently produced many of the world’s finest players and teams as well as some memorable World Cup performances.
