PITTSBURGH (September 19, 2019) – Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (14-4-9) will travel to battle Nashville SC (16-7-6) for a top-five showdown at 8 p.m. on Saturday at First Tennessee Park. This match will be televised on Pittsburgh’s CW.
This will be their second meeting this season, as the Hounds rallied late to draw Nashville SC, 2-2, on April 27 at Highmark Stadium. After Nashville jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals from Ken Tribbett (41′) and Bradley Bourgeois (66′), Pittsburgh stormed back with a goal from Christian Volesky (88′) and an own goal from Kosuke Kimura (90’+2).
The Hounds are 3-1-1 in their last five games and carry a 5-4-3 road record into their match this weekend. The club is also working on a streak of four straight clean sheets.
Meanwhile, Nashville is 3-2-0 in its past five matches and owns a 7-3-3 home record. The squad is coming off a 1-0 home victory against Birmingham Legion FC this past Tuesday.
