The USL will partner with ESPN to further increase the level of coverage for the league throughout the 2016 season. The new partnership will include 20 exclusive regular season match broadcasts on ESPN3, in addition to the 2016 USL Championship airing on an over-the-air ESPN network.
The league announced the first six matchups that will air on ESPN3, including Republic FC’s home match on Wednesday, June 8 against Real Monarchs SLC.
“We are thrilled to announce our new collaboration with ESPN,” said USL President Jake Edwards. “This relationship is another step forward for the League and its digital first philosophy.”
