Sacramento Republic FC are teaming up with Loaves & Fishes to kick off the local nonprofit’s annual toilet paper drive at Bonney Field this Wednesday. Republic FC fans are encouraged to bring donations of toilet paper to the club’s match against Real Monarchs SLC prior to the 8 p.m. kickoff.
A local nonprofit, Loaves & Fishes is dedicated to feeding Sacramento’s hungry, providing shelter for the homeless and giving access to basic life necessities. As part of the nonprofit’s efforts, Loaves & Fishes holds an annual toilet paper drive to keep their facilities stocked for those in need.

This year’s goal is to collect 40,000 rolls of toilet paper at a variety of events throughout the Sacramento region this summer, starting with Republic FC’s home match on Wednesday, July 6. The final donation drive will take place at Loaves & Fishes (located at 1351 North C Street) on Tuesday, August 2.
Republic FC fans may drop off new, packaged toilet paper at the main entrance of Bonney Field prior to the Republic FC vs Real Monarchs match on Wednesday. Alternatively, Republic FC fans may also drop off their donations at the club’s Headquarters and Team Store, which is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
