Since its founding in 2014, Sacramento Republic FC has been committed to investing into the community and local families because we know that It Takes A Republic to make our city a better place.
On Saturday night, Republic FC and City Councilmember Angelique Ashby unveiled a multi-year, comprehensive initiative called, “She Can Coach.” This initiative will recruit, retain and prepare more women to be youth coaches, providing kids with the mentorship, guidance and compassion they need to succeed in sports and in life.
She Can Coach will include a series of girls-only soccer clinics coached by women, training for coaches, and recruitment seminars for women of all backgrounds who are interested in coaching youth sports.
