On Tuesday, Republic FC and Mayor Michael Tubbs of the City of Stockton came together to support a youth soccer club that were recent victims of vandalism and theft from their soccer equipment container. This was the third time vandals broke into Select FC's container, and the first time it was set ablaze. Equipment was stolen, and some was also destroyed.
On Tuesday, Republic FC and Mayor Michael Tubbs of the City of Stockton came together to support a youth soccer club that were recent victims of vandalism and theft from their soccer equipment container. This was the third time vandals broke into Select FC’s container, and the first time it was set ablaze. Equipment was stolen, and some was also destroyed.
The Indomitable Club and Mayor Tubbs recognized the unfortunate situation and immediately united to reach out and help out the youngsters. Republic FC, with the support of Mayor Tubbs, replaced the team’s storage container, provided new equipment to help the club’s players get back to practicing, and hosted a mini-camp with head coach Mark Briggs and SRFC players Villyan Bijev and Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu.
