As the 4-seed in Division B this week, El Tri was handed an opening round bye and is just a single victory away from bouncing back to the top tier. Last week, SRFC competed in Division A but was handed a loss in the opening round by Union Omaha’s strong Norway-side.

But the boys in Old Glory Red are eying an immediate return to the top league, as the last time SRFC competed in Division B the club advanced to the Final before falling to New England Revolution II’s Russian squad. En route to the Week Two Div-B Championship match, Republic FC claimed a 3-1 win over Tampa Bay Rowdies – representing Colombia – and 3-2 over Charleston Battery’s Greece.
Current SRFC defender Juan Barahona will be on the sticks manning El Tri against the Ivory Coast and Wednesday will be the second time the Salvadorian left back has competed in the virtual tournament. Barahona’s first and only match with the Playstation4 controller in-hand was the 3-2 win over Greece nearly two weeks ago.

In charge of the 5-seeded Ivory Coast for Indy Eleven is Colten Vincent who guided his side to a 2-1 win on Tuesday over North Carolina FC’s Turkey. After taking an early lead, Turkey equalized late in the match, but it took Vincent’s Ivory Coast all of two minutes to restore its lead.
The Ivory Coast is a squad loaded with pace and include a number of studs on the attacking front. Striker Roger Assale will be leading the front line, but wingers Max-Alain Gradel and Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe are extremely potent on the counterattack. AC Milan’s Frank Yannich Kessie will be manning the middle of the pitch alongside Seko Fofana, a former Manchester City youth product.
