Seven different locations for the developmental camps for ages 6-16 over 10 weeks are available throughout the entire region. By the day, spots are rapidly filling up and additional information can be found on the club’s Camps and Clinics homepage.

With Republic FC’s Summer Camps and Clinics just around the corner, the Indomitable Club continues to showcase each of its tremendous and inspirational youth coaches who are enthused and passionate about the future of the sport in the Indomitable City. This week’s profile is on Youth Coach Allie Carmickle and her love for coaching the beautiful game.
The Rescue, CA native went to high school at St. Francis in Sacramento before she continued her studies at UC Davis.
The local soccer star – who grew up playing goalkeeper for a handful of local teams including the San Juan Soccer Club and Placer United to name a few – went on to play collegiately where she donned the Aggies kit for a season.
But it was immediately after her playing days when she took up – and fell in love with – coaching the sport.
“In November 2015, I helped run Goalkeeper Wars,” Carmickle said. “I have been coaching camps and clinics hosted by the Sacramento Republic ever since.”

Since becoming such an integral part of Republic FC’s Camps and Clinics veteran leadership team, she’s been a positive role model for all the youngsters who have wanted to work on developing their game and hone their skills. Heading into the 2021 summer Camps and Clinics series, she’ll be once again bringing her wealth of knowledge to the sport that means so much to her.
Since becoming such an integral part of Republic FC’s Camps and Clinics veteran leadership team, she’s been a positive role model for all the youngsters who have wanted to work on developing their game and hone their skills. Heading into the 2021 summer Camps and Clinics series, she’ll be once again bringing her wealth of knowledge to the sport that means so much to her.

And when she reflects on the growth of the camps as well as the club itself, she’s beyond satisfied with how far both have come.
“Looking back over the past six years that I have coached with the Sacramento Republic, I am so proud of how our club has grown,” she said “We have had the honor to inspire new players, enhance the skills and knowledge of our youth, and reignite a passion for soccer in our community. Through all of the twists and turns of the past year or so, we have remained strong and united because of the amazing support of this indomitable community.”
