
San Antonio FC will travel to Sacramento to take on Republic FC on Saturday, March 17 for the club’s opening match of the 2018 USL season. The club will then debut in front of its home supporters at Toyota Field on Saturday, March 24 against Saint Louis FC at 7:30 p.m. The home opener marks the first of 17 USL regular season home games taking place at Toyota Field in 2018.
SAFC will play every Western Conference team twice – home and away – with the exceptions of the Swope Park Rangers and Rio Grande Valley FC Toros, whom they will play three times over the course of the 2018 season. The Alamo City club will also host OKC Energy FC on July 4, marking the first time SAFC will play a USL match on the national holiday.
Toyota Field will host Western Conference newcomers Fresno FC and Las Vegas Lights FC on May 5 and October 6, respectively. SAFC will travel to Fresno for the first time on April 21 before making their first trip to Las Vegas just six days later on April 27. The club’s longest homestands and road trips of the season both stand at three matches. SAFC will host three straight games from June 2 – June 23 and from September 29 – October 13, while playing three matches on the road from August 11 – August 26 and from September 15 – September 22.
August and September mark the busiest months for San Antonio with six matches in each. Between those 12 total matches, SAFC will play just four at home, competing in eight road matches over the course of those two months. San Antonio will finish the season with three straight home matches, ending the regular season at Toyota Field against rivals RGV FC.
San Antonio FC will play 26 Saturday matches, six Wednesday matches, one Friday match and one Monday match during the 2018 season. The Alamo City Club will host 15 Saturday matches and two Wednesday matches at Toyota Field over the course of the season. All SAFC home matches will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. and start times for 2018 road matches will be announced at a later date.
