SAN ANTONIO (March 5, 2022) – San Antonio FC fell to El Paso Locomotive FC this afternoon, in the club’s final preseason friendly that saw an SAFC lineup composed entirely of SAFC Pro Academy players, with the exception of Jordan Farr and Matt Cardone.
“I think it was a great opportunity for our academy players, to go out and compete against full time professionals,” said Head Coach Alen Marcina. “I thought they did a great job, we had a number of 15 and 16 year olds on the field competing, doing the best they could. It was a good exercise for them to learn and grow from. So all in all a good day.”
