Stockton, California – April 1, 2025 – The Stockton Cargo Soccer Club (SC) is excited to announce that California Resources Corporation (NYSE: CRC) has renewed its sponsorship for a third season and increased its investment with Stockton Cargo SC for a second year in a row.
In addition, CRC and its Carbon TerraVault carbon management business will sponsor the planting of one tree per goal scored by the Cargo during the 2025 season. Trees will be planted in conjunction with a to-be-determined non-profit in an area of Stockton where tree plantings will have the most environmental impact.
“The Stockton Cargo and CRC go hand in hand,” said Lee Neves, President/CEO of the Stockton Cargo Soccer Club. “CRC has been with us since day one. Its investment in Stockton has allowed the young women who make up the Cargo the opportunity to represent their community on a national stage and has allowed Stockton to have a team it can really call its own.”
“Our partnership with the Stockton Cargo reflects CRC’s deep commitment to investing our communities,” said Francisco Leon, CRC’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Through our sponsorship and support, including planting trees for every goal scored, we are proud to contribute to both the success of the team and the sustainability of Stockton. We look forward to another exciting season and to making a lasting impact together.”
