On Saturday, June 26th, the Switchbacks hosted the CHSAA Girls’ Soccer Tournament at Weidner Field. Two teams from each the 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A divisions across Colorado gathered for a day of games starting at 8 AM.
The tournament lasted all day, with the final game ending at close to 7 pm. The four games ended in state champions for each division: the Dawson School Mustangs (2A), the Kent Denver Sun Devils (3A), the Holy Family Tigers (4A), and the Broomfield Eagles (5A).
Tickets were sold right up to the day of the tournament, and over 1,000 attendees came throughout the day to cheer on the various teams.
