Colorado Springs, CO (May 29, 2018) – The United Soccer League officially announced today that Luke Vercollone was named to the Week 11 USL Team of the Week marking his second appearance during the 2018 campaign.
Vercollone was named to the Team of the Week after a strong performance in the Switchbacks 3-0 victory against Saint Louis FC at Weidner Field Saturday night. Vercollone scored two goals after putting all five of his shots on target and adding a key pass to his night.

The Switchbacks return home on June 9th to face Swope Park Rangers on Star Wars night where the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Saber courtesy of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services and Chewbacca warm-up jerseys will be sold with all proceeds going to the Penrose-St. Francis Cancer Research Foundation. Tickets start at just $12 and are available here. Fans 21+ can get $1 beer the first 30 minutes when gates open at 5:00 PM.
