STATESBORO, Ga. – June 13, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC will travel to Madison, Wisconsin to face Forward Madison FC live on ESPN2. The match, which kicks off at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15 will be the first time Tormenta FC has appeared on a national broadcast since the USL League One final in 2022.

South Georgia enters Saturday’s match following a 1-3 defeat in the USL Jägermeister Cup against Greenville Triumph. Forward Madison FC is unbeaten in USL League One with a 4-0-3 (W-L-D) record. Saturday’s match will be the second time the two have faced each other this season, drawing 1-1 earlier this season.

Forward Austin Wehner made his first professional start for South Georgia on Sunday against Greenville, finding the back of the net for the Ibises in the 12th minute.
