STATESBORO, Ga. – May 14, 2024 – South Georgia Tormenta FC’s Jake Dengler was named a member of the USL Jägermeister Team of the Round for his display in the second match of the USL Jägermeister Cup group stage against Greenville Triumph on May 11.
The defender played all 90 minutes for South Georgia, making seven clearances, blocking five shots, intercepting two passes, and completing 100% of his tackles. Dengler also won seven duels and converted 12 long ball attempts.

South Georgia Tormenta FC is back at home, hosting Chattanooga Red Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 in USL League One play. The following weekend, Tormenta will host the Richmond Kickers on Saturday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. for the next round of the USL Jägermeister Cup. Fans can purchase their tickets here.
