OKLAHOMA CITY – Four members of the previously announced U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) World Cup roster as well as head coach Heather Tarr will take the field this week at the 2023 NCAA Women’s College World Series (WCWS) set to take place June 1-9 at the Softball Capital of the World® in Oklahoma City.
Representing four collegiate programs and three athletic conferences across the country, the U.S. athletes participating in the 2023 WCWS include Alabama’s Montana Fouts, Oklahoma State’s Kelly Maxwell, Tennessee’s Kiki Milloy and Washington’s Baylee Klingler. Fouts and Milloy will kick off the WCWS action tomorrow as Alabama and Tennessee face off in the opening game followed by Maxwell taking the field with Oklahoma State at 6 p.m. CT and Klingler battling it out with Washington in the night cap at 8:30 p.m. CT.
Following the conclusion of the WCWS, each athlete will represent the Red, White and Blue at the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Cup Group A event in Fingal-Dublin, Ireland held July 11-15. For more information on the 2023 WNT and its upcoming events, visit USASoftball.com.
