USA Softball Annual Council Meeting comes to a close in Oklahoma City, Okla.

OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, wrapped up its 92nd Annual Council Meeting yesterday after five days of meetings and forums discussing the state of the sport and its hope for future growth. Over the course of the last week, USA Softball evaluated proposed code and rule changes for all divisions of USA Softball, announced 2025 National Championship locations and appointed Regional Vice-Presidents to the Board of Directors (BOD) while also voting for a new President Elect as Dave Devine took over as the new President to begin his two-year term. Also highlighting the week was the 42nd Annual National Softball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the announcement of the 2024 Hall of Fame Class and the Wilson Awards Luncheon.

2025 National Championships

USA Softball announced locations for 2025 National Championships within different divisions of USA Softball’s grassroots programs, including the below Girls’ Class A Fast Pitch National Championship Finals.

USA Softball Girls’ 10-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Salem, Va.

USA Softball Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Salem, Va.

USA Softball Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Johnson City, Tenn.

USA Softball Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Salem, Va.

USA Softball Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch East – Johnson City, Tenn.

USA Softball Girls’ 10-Under Class A Fast Pitch West – Broken Arrow, Okla.

USA Softball Girls’ 12-Under Class A Fast Pitch West – Broken Arrow, Okla.

USA Softball Girls’ 14-Under Class A Fast Pitch West – Broken Arrow, Okla.

USA Softball Girls’ 16-Under Class A Fast Pitch West – Broken Arrow, Okla.

USA Softball Girls’ 18-Under Class A Fast Pitch West – Broken Arrow, Okla.

USA Softball selected Regional Vice Presidents & President Elect

During the 2023 Annual Council Meeting, three of the 10 Regional Vice Presidents – in addition to Sandy Searcy, the Allied/Affiliate seat – were reappointed to the USA Softball BOD while three new board members joined the group, including the newly elected President Elect Dan Pfeffer who currently serves as Commissioner for USA Softball of Minnesota. Representing the 10 USA Softball Regions across the country are:

Beverly Wiley (USA Softball of Rhode Island Commissioner) – Northeast Region

John McPhail (USA Softball of Central Virginia Commissioner) – Central Atlantic Region – Reappointed

Dwayne Sealy (USA Softball of Florida Commissioner) – Southeast Region – New BOD member

Walker Clark (USA Softball of Arkansas Commissioner) – South Region – Reappointed

Rodney Cobb (USA Softball of Texas Commissioner) – Southwest Region

Darrin Duistermars (USA Softball of Michigan Commissioner) – Midwest Region – Reappointed

Mary Mahoney (USA Softball of Kansas City Commissioner) – Mid America Region

Dick Gulmon (USA Softball of North Dakota Commissioner) ­– Northern Region

Roger Garcia (USA Softball of Alaska Commissioner) – Northwest Mountain Region

Chris Drumm (USA Softball of SoCal Commissioner) – Pacific Coast Region – New BOD member
